Following the success of Tahona San Diego, Tahona Baja’s mission is to educate and give reverence to the complexity and beauty of the Mexican culture through its most iconic beverage, mezcal, and to become an epicenter of mezcal culture in the San Diego & Baja California. Located in the north of Ensenada, inside Cuatro Cuatros, They offer incredible Oaxacan-inspired food and some of the best mezcals of Mexico.

The main challenge entrusted to us by the customer was to translate the brand image of Tahona SD (USA) into a Mexican premium establishment in the Baja region.

After a marketing analysis on the target audience and the local culture, we’ve decided to focus our content strategy on a lifestyle angle: The Baja Way Of Life. Our content pillars were consequently a mix of the classic restaurant themes, adding adventure, nature, and the amazing experiences that the region has to offer. We highlight the lifestyle aspect of the business and its amazing location with the use of Reels and a UGC strategy, encouraging the customers to document their experience and regularly reposting user-generated content on Tahona Baja’s pages.
Results:
Thanks to an efficient lifestyle content strategy, we are tagged every week by customers sharing positive feedback about their experience. This has fostered a constant and organic growth of the page. Tahona Baja has now become a staple in the area.
